[WAUSAU, WI] – The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin is seeking applications for Community Arts Grant funding by the April 15 application deadline. The Community Arts Grant Fund, administered within the Community Foundation, encourages cooperation and expansion of arts opportunities in our area. Grants, up to $5,000 will be awarded for projects and programs that reinforce the quality and diversity of the arts in north central Wisconsin.
Funding for the Community Arts Grant program is being provided through the Wisconsin Arts Board, a state agency, the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation, and the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin’s Wausau Marathon County Fund. The grant program will continue to make a tremendous impact on the arts throughout Marathon County in the upcoming year.
Projects designed to complement, enhance, or expand new or existing cultural activities throughout Marathon County will be eligible to receive funding. To qualify, some portion or outcome of the project must be open to the public.
