Regional Affiliate Funds
We have partnered with the Community Foundation since 1995, when we established a fund for graduating seniors in the performing arts from Antigo High School
Since then, we have discovered the benefits of maintaining a donor advised fund, working with the Foundation to administer our Community Aquatic Center Fund, and most recently in establishing the Antigo Community Foundation Fund. Through the Foundation we can support causes that are important to us while taking advantage of the tax benefits offered in working with an established dependable 501(c)(3) organization."

The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin is here to promote philanthropy throughout north central Wisconsin.
We currently administer affiliate funds serving Antigo, Boulder Junction, and Merrill that utilize our investment pool and administrative services. Each affiliate is governed by its own advisory board, and funds raised by and for each community are used to address each community's specific needs.
Established at year-end 2006, the Antigo Community Foundation Fund has already made a difference in Langlade County. Several sizeable grants awarded in 2007 provided funding for city playground equipment, a radiation center, and restrooms at the tennis courts near the high school. The advisory board is making plans to ensure that the Fund continues to serve as a timeless resource for the area.
Established in 2010, the Boulder Junction Community Foundation Restricted Endowment Fund board of directors is concentrating on promoting public awareness and building the assets of the fund. As it grows, the advisory board plans to award grants from earnings for local purposes including, but not limited to, the areas of human services, education, health, recreation, arts and culture, the environment, and community development.
Established in 2000, the Merrill Area Community Foundation continues to build a solid financial base for the future. The advisory board set a goal of building a fund balance that would grow and develop to meet the current and future needs of the Merrill area. The earnings from the Merrill Area Community Foundation Fund provide grants that help enhance and enrich the Merrill area. Click here to download the grant guidelines.
The Three Lakes Community Funds, established in 2014, are comprised of two separate funds - the Endowment Fund and the Current Fund.
